HyaPOWER (PTY) Ltd is an up-and-coming REIPP (Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer) focused on the future renewable energy market. The company was founded in 2021 by three shareholders, we are 90% black owned and 60% black woman owned.The SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) we will be addressing are Water Pollution, Air Pollution, High Energy cost, Low Energy Security and Unemployment. 

Too many of the world’s dams and lakes are in a state of ecological disaster due to an infestation of Water Hyacinth and Algae fueled by pollution. Our vision at HyaPOWER is to create a feasible Renewable Energy business from restoring the ecology of these dams and lakes. Our mission is to transform these dams and lakes from ecological disasters into ‘’Aquatic Bioenergy Farms” and create a new global renewable energy industry. Our main products are BioLNG and Gas to Electric power generation. Imagine a Green Circular Economy as an artificial ecosystem feeding on pollution.

Our target market amongst others is the large food manufactures, high energy consumers up to 4MW/h. Companies with hot and cold processes that cannot be interrupted by loadshedding and power interruptions. Companies with their own distribution networks and green ambitions. In a bid to reduce their dependence Eskom coal power and Diesel we offer our customers a 100% renewable energy solution in the form of a MicroGrid fueled with BioLNG. The MicroGrid system consist of a solar system and set of containerized gas generators installed next to the food factory. This MicroGrid system will provide combined heat and power for the manufacturing process. In addition to the MicroGrid solution we will also include a BioLNG filling station as a Diesel replacement for the distribution trucks.
